Depending on product selection, high performance geotextiles are used for base course reinforcement and soil stabilization/reinforcement applications as well as for road, runway and railway construction. Uniaxial geogrids are high performance woven polyester and polymer-coated geogrids used for soil reinforcement. They are used in Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls, retaining walls and steep slopes. Biaxial geogrids are used for base course reinforcementand soil stabilization applications. Such applications would be paved roads, constructing haul roads, foundation reinforcement, and weak subgrades.
